Deering Park Stewardship District
The Deering Park Stewardship District is a local, special-purpose government entity created and existing pursuant to Chapter 2020-197, Laws of Florida (“Act”), and Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, being situated entirely within the City of Edgewater, Brevard County and Volusia County, Florida, and established on September 4, 2020, as a supplemental and alternative method to manage, own, operate, construct, and finance both green and capital infrastructure systems, facilities and services.
The Deering Park Stewardship District encompasses an area of approximately 64,135 acres within the City of Edgewater, Brevard County and Volusia County, Florida.
